Wow. What a first half of the year it’s been already.
I don’t know about you, but I’m having a blast talking about the modern problems keeping recruiters up at night. Things like AI, Candidate Fraud, Identity Verification, RecOps, Talent Engineering and the changes happening in Employer Brand.
All of these areas of recruiting are important pieces of the hiring puzzle, and things I’ve faced in my ten years of recruiting in public, private equity, and startup companies.
So after losing count of the trips I’ve already been on this year, Season Two of The Greenhouse Recruiting Roadshow starts in Denver.
Why?
Because it’s home to me, and after a decade of living here, still feels like I’m uncovering parts of Colorado that feel like adventure. And that’s what the Roadshow is all about. Adventure. Call me crazy, but I’ve literally dreamt of traveling the country talking to my friends from the internet about recruiting. So here we are. Making that a reality, and building a little community along the way.
I hope you enjoy following along, because it’s been an absolute trip doing the most analog thing I know in the dawn of AI. Getting in van, on a plane, and recording in-person conversations about a topic so many people are passionate about. Hiring.
The number one question I get, second only to “What ATS do you recommend?” is “Wait, what do you do?”
And as simple as it is, I get to talk to people for a living. How cool?
